WARC is once again holding a Radio Raffle.  The winner will be able to choose between the Anniversary Edition Icom ID-51A VHF/UHF, FM, D-STAR ready HT transceiver, or $500.00 CASH.  This will make the raffle appealing to both hams and non-hams alike. You can purchase tickets from Garth VE4GWB, Mark VE4MAB, Glen VE4GWN and others T.B.A as you run into them at meetings, coffee ect.  They will also be available at Micro-Hightech 197 Leila Ave.  The raffle is once again being held to help cover the cost of club insurance, meeting room rental and other increased expenses over the last few years to keep the membership fees as is.  Prices are $5.00 each or 3 for $10.00. 

The draw will take place on April 12, 2015 at the spring flea market at 11:30 am.

a: Ticket sales are open to all residence of Manitoba regardless of age.

b:  Ticket sales are open to all members and non-members of W.A.R.C.  Executive members with the exception of the Raffle chair may participate in the raffle. 

c: The draw on April 12, 2015 will be made by a member of W.A.R.C. chosen by the executive prior to the draw.  The winner will be contacted and then they may choose one of the prises.

d: If the prize is left unclaimed, a re-draw will take place at the next regular monthly W.A.R.C. general meeting, May 11, 2015.

e: If the winner resides outside the City of Winnipeg and the prize cannot be picked up locally, alternate shipping will be arranged
